Three Years Old

He loves to throw balls and hit balls. He is very coordinated for a little man his size! Here he is with his baseball cake

His "cheesy" picture smile

Grammy decorated the table for him and got him this birthday hat

He is such a big little man! He loves this little T-shirt I appliqued for him with the number 3

He never wants to be left out and thinks he's big enough to do any thing his brother and sisters do. He takes GIANT steps with his little legs.

He starts all his prayers with Thankus Jesus. When he wants me to hurry up he says "What're you waiting on for, Mom?" He has to have me rub his tummy when he's sleepy

Before he could say "I love you" he would say "You're my BEST." He still says that a lot and I love it!

Schools Out!

This is how Ella's tie-dye t-shirt from last post turned out :) Her school colors are orange and black.

Abby's 3rd grade party was super nice

Some clowns were there for face-painting. Here is Ella as a puppy dog. Complete with her cute little tongue hanging out.

Isaac's turn

UDF even showed up with plenty of icecream for every one

His buddies

So. Glad. To be done with school. They brought home their report cards yesterday and I am so proud of all of them.

Memorial Day weekend we planted our garden. Cabbage, onions, broccoli,

zucchini, cucumbers, tomatoes,

egg plant, and 2 different kinds of green beans.

Can't wait for fresh veggies!

After we got our garden all planted it started to sprinkle. The sun was still shining bright, and there was a FULL rainbow in our yard. I couldn't get it all in the picture and it barely shows up, but it started on one side of the yard and went completely over to the other side. It was so awesome! We didn't find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, but I know my home and my family are worth so much more. So cool that the rainbow was right in our own yard!

School Daze

Only one more week of school! Yay~ can't wait for summer vacation :) The kids have been wrapping up the year with field days, picnics, and field trips. Caleb's class took a field trip to the Loveland Historical Museum and had a scavenger hunt along the way looking for various facts about Loveland. Here he is at Veteran Memorial Park writing down facts for the scavenger hunt.

A Makeover

We have done a little work around the outside of the house lately. Here is our garage makeover
BEFORE

AFTER (total cost - approximately $2 of leftover paint and $15 for house numbers)

Carl trimmed out the garage doors in black and added house numbers and I painted the shutters.

We love the difference it makes!

We also gave our front porch a little makeover.
BEFORE

AFTER

We stained the front porch "thundercloud" from Sherwin Williams. Painted the door black.
Added a chair and side table

A trip to IKEA

A couple potted plants and an oversized "E". The surface of the side table wasn't quite large enough, so I added a PNG basket that I had

And spray painted it black. I have "rearranged the furniture" out here a few times and now I have it back like this. I. love. how. this. turned. out! It is exactly what we wanted :)

And finally our rhododendron bush has been in full bloom. I love this time of year!
