Here are some recent pictures of Isaac. He will be 6 weeks old tomorrow. Most people say he looks just like his Pappy Eisenhart. His hair was pretty blond when he was born with a bit of a reddish tint. I didn't really notice it that much until everyone started commenting on his beautiful red hair. It really does look red when he's outside in the sun. Carl's great grandfather was a twin and they both had RED hair. So.. we'll see if it stays. He has just started giving a few toothless smiles. He is so precious!
This was taken last week out on our deck.
I didn't post any July 4th parade pics and I know this is late but had to show this one of Ella waving her flags. She's a proud american!
I just took this picture so I would have one to blog. He is growing so fast!

Baking a Cake
I know I'm behind on my blogging. I will be posting pictures soon. Just thought I would share this quick since I'm short on time. My mom sent this to me saying it sounds just like my Ella.
How to Bake a Cake
Preheat oven; get out utensils and ingredients; remove blocks and toy cars from table; grease pan, crack nuts; measure two cups of flour; remove baby's hands from flour, wash flour off baby. Re-measure flour. Put flour, baking powder and salt in sifter. Get dustpan and brush up pieces of bowl baby knocked on the floor. Get another bowl. Answer doorbell. Return to kitchen. Remove baby's hands from bowl. Wash baby. Answer phone. Return. Remove one-fourth inch of salt from greased pan. Look for baby. Grease another pan. Answer phone. Return to kitchen and find baby. Remove hands from bowl. Take up greased pan and find layer of nutshells in it. Head for baby, who flees, knocking bowl off table. Wash kitchen floor, table, walls, dishes, and baby. Call local bakery!!!!! Lie down with baby for a nap.

church campout / picnic
Our church had our annual 4th of July picnic last weekend. Carl set up the tent and our kids camped out Friday night and we spent the day there Saturday enjoying food, friends, and freedom! Here are a few pictures of our wonderful church family.
Volleyball-my team lost, but we did win in corn hole
Grammy & Isaac chillin in the shade
My girls both LOVE Tyler
Abby & her best buddy Lorna
Caleb got soaked in a water fight
Grammy, Pappy & Ella enjoying the campfire
Cheyanna is all smiles
Susanna, did you really put your cell phone in your cupholder with your cup of water already in it?!
We enjoyed quite the fireworks show!
Ella loves camping out
Cory and Kelly - they always make me smile
Kristal and Mark holding Duston
Deanna, I couldn't decide which picture to use so I chose both!

Happy Independence Day!
My favorite baby!
Shhhhhhhhhhh!!!
Stephanie Phillips brought over a wonderful meal Monday evening. Here is her menu. It was delicious! I had never had couscous made like this and I loved it! It had grilled chicken, peas, shredded carrots and tomatoes in it. Yum!! She is an excellent cook. She made an amazing homemade dressing for the salad because she knows that's my favorite. Sorry, no leftovers. Thanks Steph!
