Growth Spurt

I love this spot in our garage.

It reminds me how fast time flies and to cherish every minute.

6 and 3/4 inches since last year!

Growing up

way. too. fast.

I took (dropped off) Caleb and a couple buddies kayaking Saturday.

Each year Great Outdoors Weekend sponsors all kinds of outdoor events in Cincinnati and all the activities are FREE!

The trip started at Izaak Walton League and ended at Lake Isabella.

Such a great program and a fun time for the boys :)

Toothless

If you are an ear of corn, you really have nothing to worry about if you see these two coming your way!

Random Summer Moments

Sprinkler. Towels. Jammies.

Bruises. Blisters. Begging to do it again.

Summer nights. Trampoline. Ipod.

Look  closely!  It's the "E" from the West Elm sign.  The West Elm store closed at Kenwood.

A day at the Zoo

Susanna dragged invited me to the zoo with her a few days ago.

We took Isaac (who has never been to the Zoo) and Levi.

Isaac's favorite thing was the bird show.  

And a long stick to carry around that he found in the bushes.

Of course, he loved the carousel.  We rode it more than once.


There were even real animals there!  Lots of them!  I have a picture of one giraffe.

Lastly the train.  We sat in the caboose.  He had tons of fun and of course he wanted to go back the next day.  Thanks, Susanna, for convincing me to go with you!
