The girls have been begging to do a lemonade stand this summer.  So today was the day

Caleb showing Isaac the best way to hold the sign
Isaac was the official sign-holder

Waiting for their first customer

And break-time
It was HOT!  They lasted a little over an hour and made around $7.00  And now they want to do it again tomorrow!

Surgery, Shampoo, and Slippers

Thanks so much for all your prayers, cards, visits, and well wishes.  Abby loved reading all the comments on her blog!  She is recovering very well.  God has been so good to us!
Feeling a bit nervous before surgery

4 and 1/2 hours later.  Lots of tubes and cords and beeps and bandages.

Many more hours later.  Ordering "room service."  Definitely the best part of our hospital experience.  Gold Star Chili, Larosa's Pizza, Starbucks Coffee - right to our room!

Denise made this sign for Abby's room :)  It made me smile.

5 days in hospital  = serious bed head (and this was her "good" side - on day 3 :)

After a bottle of baby shampoo, salon hair conditioner, help from a friend, detangler spray, a lot of resistance (from her), a lot of patience (from me), we ended up with this :)

Feeling better and taking a stroll to the cafeteria

Finally home and feeling much better.  How could you not feel better with those fluffy slippers!  Thanks again for all your prayers!

My News (title borrowed from Abby's Blog :)

Thanks so much your prayers, phone calls, and all the comments on Abby's Blog.  Her Ureteral Reimplantation Surgery surgery is scheduled for 7:45am July 8th.  Grammy is keeping our other kids tonight so Abby and I spent the afternoon shopping.
Her favorite store.
 and some new PJ's

Seriously, mom?  In the parking lot?

When our feet finally got tired of shopping, we stopped for dinner at Panera Bread

Carl met us there

Then we ended the day at the Dairy Whip

Did I mention "Yum?"
Please keep us in your prayers!

Julie's Baby Shower

I can't wait to meet my new nephew in about a month!  Here is my attempt at a mobile for him.
Scrapbook paper.

Google images for modern giraffe, etc.  Trace.  Cut.

Lots and lots of circles cut with Emily's cricut.  (Thanks Emily!)

 Helping hands.

Chain links.

She had told me about her bedding but I hadn't seen it yet so I was hoping it would match ok.
Sherissa and Kristina hosted a beautiful shower for her.
Grandma waiting for her 8th grandbaby.

She's my favorite friend & sister!

Isn't she so adorable!

Lisa & Brooklyn
Yay!  It matched!

And she liked it :)

Hopefully, Baby will too!
