It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas!

This year we split up decorating the tree over a couple days.  Mainly because there was christmas light drama.  Again.  Which included a trip to three different stores for lights!  The kids always camp out on the living room floor the day we put up our tree.  They love this tradition!

The next day we brought out all the ornaments.

Um yeah ...there was quite a bit of excitement!

And a few more because I love blurry christmas lights (bokeh)

Our nativity scene

I love. love. love this time of year.  So thankful that Jesus came!

Beautiful! Love watching the fam decorate the tree! And, yes, it is very pretty....with lots of sentimental ornaments.

Btw...I think we might have the same exact Nativity! Our was a Christmas present from the first year we were married. What's your story?

So thankful Jesus came too!

Janie, what a fun post! Looks fun to sleep in the living room floor, but ours is concrete and COLD, so our kids have "sleep overs" in our room when we are in Colombia!

Your tree looks fun and looks like y'all had fun putting it together too.

Love all the blurry tree light pictures....esp. the ones in your white mirror. =)

You did a great job writing on your chalkboard in your living room.

SO GLAD Jesus came too. What an AWESOME season we get to celebrate because He came.

I love your decor, but your kid's faces are what I love the most. Love that Jesus gave us soo much, so many reasons to celebrate, and such a wonderful time together at Christmas!
