A Visit to Chicago

We got to spend a few days in Chicago for a mini family reunion.  Chicago is such a beautiful city

and we loved every

single minute of it!

My girls have been dying to go to the American Girl Place!

They were not disappointed!  So many fun things to see.

And then, there was the LEGO store.  That sign- it's made entirely of little lego men's hats only! Amazing!

And this mural - all flat piece legos!

And this girl - yep, all legos.  But those boys are real!  And I think those boys may have been wishing she was real :)

My cousins (Dad's sister's girls) from California that I haven't seen for way too long (about 11 years)

And Lisa.

The BIG little cousins

My favorite thing was all 22 of us riding the Ferris Wheel at Navy Pier right at dusk.

One of these girl's was scared to death and the other was completely at ease.

The skyline view from our bucket seat

and right below us, Navy Pier.

So beautiful!

Cousins holding hands and walking around the Pier.

My Mom and her Sister-in-Law, Aunt Karen

Grandpa and Brayden.

Lake Michigan

We walked to Cloud Gate, or as Chicagoans call it - The Bean.  Can you find me in the background?

This was such a  cool structure

and so fun for taking pictures.

And our family with The Bean in the background (see I told you it was a fun place to take pictures!)

Underneath The Bean.

And then we walked to Buckingham Fountain

And the kids ran through the mist to cool off.  You may be able to tell by Isaac's face he was tired of walking!

Goodbye, Chicago!  We love you!  We will be back soon!
