Summer is over
Where did the summer go? It's hard to believe school has started. Caleb is in first grade and Abby started kindergarten this year. Here are a few pictures of their first day of school. Caleb started a week before Abby so he was there to help Abby on her first day. He was so sweet with her - he took her hand when he saw the bus coming and then helped her up the bus steps. I can't believe how big they look in these pictures. They grow up so fast!! Some days I wish I could just hit "pause" and enjoy the moment a little longer.

Somehow school clothes and backpacks just make them look so much older. But like an older mother shared with me one time, if you are sad to see them grow up think about it this way...growing and maturing is good, it's a natural part of life and we can count our blessings that everything is "normal" :)
Oh they look so cute!! I love Abby's socks! They do look bigger! I'm not sure I always like the growing up part either, but I know it has to happen! Love, Janella

The pictures are great! I love the picture of Caleb holding Abby's hand. That is a great picture! Life does go by just all too quickly sometimes!

Man do I feel old! It seems like yesterday we were bringing Caleb home from the hospital. Hard to believe all those years have passed and I have 2 neices and another nephew to enjoy. :o) We love you all!
