Speaking of gifts, I am so thankful God has blessed us with Caleb. Children truly are a gift from God. Caleb was named after the Old Testament Caleb, whose name means "whole- hearted." He served the God of Israel with his whole heart. He was the first to speak up and say, let's go and conquer this land and encouraged Israel to follow God in spite of the opposition from the other 10 spies. I often remind Caleb who he was named after and encourage him to choose right even if the majority is choosing wrong. I'm so thankful for the good friends Caleb has and the fun day we had celebrating his birthday !
