Feeling a bit nervous before surgery
4 and 1/2 hours later. Lots of tubes and cords and beeps and bandages.
Many more hours later. Ordering "room service." Definitely the best part of our hospital experience. Gold Star Chili, Larosa's Pizza, Starbucks Coffee - right to our room!
Denise made this sign for Abby's room :) It made me smile.
5 days in hospital = serious bed head (and this was her "good" side - on day 3 :)
After a bottle of baby shampoo, salon hair conditioner, help from a friend, detangler spray, a lot of resistance (from her), a lot of patience (from me), we ended up with this :)
Feeling better and taking a stroll to the cafeteria
Finally home and feeling much better. How could you not feel better with those fluffy slippers! Thanks again for all your prayers!

Enjoyed your pics, Janie...So sorry for little Abby, but she came through like a little "BRAVEY"...with lots of loot to boot!!! She is precious!
Sooo GLAD for the way God helped Abby through her surgery! I know that it was scary for her (And for y'all too!!) Thanks for posting this update...we enjoyed seeing all of these pics. Sarah saw them some days ago, but I was sooo busy with Daryl and Brittany here that I am just now getting to see them. Love the slippers!! =) Please give Abby a hug for us and tell her that we PRAYED lots for her and are so glad that she is recovering. =)

I hope Abby is still doing good. We all prayed for her and I still pray for her when I think of her.

About the comment on my blog - I had complete forgotten about that little motorcycle that Rob and Rick had, but that DOES look like the same thing. Brings back great memories. :D
