Memorial Day Weekend
We went to Randy & Michele's today along with Grammy, Jim & Betty Jewett, and Grandma Hatfield for a cookout. We had shish-kabobs, corn on the cob, baked potatoes, salad and for dessert was home-made iceream. YUM!! Thanks Michele for the delicious meal! I'm back to the Dr. again tomorrow to see if there's any progress. Judging by the picture below you'd think there should be progress!!
Ella, Grammy, and Betty Jewett shucking corn.
Love this picture I snapped of the girls watching the boys have a water balloon fight.

Big News!
OK... no, the baby has not been born. The big news is Ella is potty trained! Yeah!!! It's official, she has been 2 weeks in training pants with only 1 accident! I am very excited and she seems very proud of herself! The best part is she was MUCH easier than Caleb & Abby ( I think I tried too soon with them) and has mostly trained herself. (I hated when other mothers would tell me that about their kids) Anyway, no more diapers--OK...no more diapers till the baby is born-- and I'm celebrating!!!

Camping Trip
What a fun weekend we had! We went to Cave Run Lake where we have been camping for the last 8 years. This year we went with Pappy & Grammy and Rob & Deanna, Kiana, Duston, and Sean. We were debating if we were going because at my Dr. appointment last week I found out I am 80% effaced and 1 centimeter dilated, but we risked it (in spite of some opposition) and had a great time! For pics of Carl's first Musky in our new boat check out Caleb's Blog.

Happy Birthday Ella!
Elisabeth Jane turns 3 years old today. Where did my baby go? Looking through these pictures brought tears to my eyes as I realize even more how quickly time goes by. I want to make sure to cherish every moment. Truly children are a precious gift from God. Ella has brought so much sunshine and laughter into our lives. She is very spontaneous and mischievious! Her eyes are the color of the darkest chocolate and her smile lights up my world.
Cherish every moment!!
Eventually I will get the perfect smile!!

Sunday Dinner
I didn't get to see my Mom today for Mother's Day, but I did get to talk to her. She is a wonderful mom, a dear friend, and an inspiration to me. Happy Mother's Day, Mom! and Happy Mother's Day to all my friends reading this which I think are mostly Mom's themselves. :) Here are some pictures from Sunday dinner at Grammy's house. Randy, Michele and Nate came over for dinner and we had a great time. Grammy had a little birthday party for Ella who will be turning 3 on Thursday. She loved it!
